Nashville, TN (October 4, 2016) - Country sweetheart and singer/songwriter Abbi Scott just released her much anticipated lyric video for her most recent single, "Love Wasn't Ready For Me." Watch it HERE.
The retro themed video is receiving rave reviews and has already been watched over 1,000 times. Kurt Bardella of Morning Hangover commented that the lyric video "has an early Taylor Swift vibe to it that I'm digging."
"The lyric video for the tune is, for lack of a better description, 'totally Abbi,' displaying pictures and videos throughout and doing so in ways that are chock full of personality," said Jen Swirsky of NashvilleGab.
To promote her new video, Abbi also conducted a Q&A via Facebook Live called "Ask Abbi." She received hundreds of fan-submitted questions from all over the world, including a fan asking her to tour in India.
"I don't want to be a small-time singer who just does it for fun," Scott said. "I want to be Garth Brooks big. It's not for the money, I just want to live out my passion and bring back the soul of country."
Born in the small town of Clinton, Indiana, Abbi started singing at an early age and quickly learned that her voice was one that people loved. Her influences range from Dixie Chicks, Martina McBride and Miranda Lambert to her Dad’s favorites – Motley Crue and Poison. By combining all of these different artists, Abbi found her signature sound which appeals to all audiences. Abbi has opened for some of the biggest acts in country music, including Luke Bryan, Cole Swindell and Dierks Bentley, all while attending Lipscomb University.
